Laurie A. Bain, M.D., FAAD
Board Certified Dermatologist
Laurie Bain, MD, FAAD is a board-certified Dermatologist. She attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Tufts University and New York University School of Medicine. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Presbyterian Hospital at Columbia University in New York, and a Residency in Dermatology at New York University School of Medicine, where she was a chief resident in her last year.
She has been practicing dermatology in Vernon CT for over 30 years. She specializes in medical and surgical dermatology. She treasures assuring that her patients are comfortable, secure, and healthy in the skin they’re in. She values the relationships she’s built with her patients over the years.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and her dogs. She enjoys travel, fitness and cooking particularly international foods.
Andrew Kelsey, MD
Board-Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon
Andrew Kelsey, MD is a board-certified Dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. He completed his Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has extensive training in head and neck reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Kelsey completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut where he served as chief resident. He trained with pioneers in skin cancer and melanoma detection. While in training he developed an expertise in dermoscopy a tool used to find early skin cancers. He has authored numerous peer reviewed scientific papers, book chapters and has presented at national conference.
Chandranni Quiñones , PA-C
Physician Assistant
Chandranni Quiñones, PA-C graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She worked and trained at the Hartford Hospital, Neuroscience Center where she became a Registered EEG Technologist. She later attended Le Moyne College Physician Assistant Program in Syracuse, New York, and graduated September, 4, 2004. Chandranni became certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in October of 2004. She began working as a Physician Assistant in the Neurology Department for Baystate Medical Center. Mrs. Quiñones worked for this medical facility, for eight years. She also worked in the General Surgery department at Hartford Hospital.
Mrs. Quiñones, currently has been working at New England Dermatology since 2015. She enjoys working with adults, teens and children to meet there various dermatological needs. She services patients with Melanoma and Non Melanoma Skin cancers, dermatologic surgery, acne management and diagnosis and treatment of various dermatitis.
